Supreme Court refuses to nullify Mbah’s election

The Supreme Court connected Friday refused to nullify the predetermination of Enugu State politician Peter Mbah.

The tribunal dismissed an entreaty filed by the campaigner of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Uche Nnaji.

In a unanimous determination by a five-member sheet of Justices, the apex tribunal held that Nnaji and his enactment filed an invalid little of argument, which rendered their entreaty incompetent.

Also, the tribunal noted that Nnaji failed to explicate wherefore the invalid process helium filed should beryllium relied upon to invalidate Mbah’s victory.

DAILY POST reports that the Court of Appeal successful Enugu had successful July dismissed Nnaji’s lawsuit against Mbah.

Nnaji had challenged politician Mbah’s victory, alleging that the bulk of the lawful votes formed had not duly elected him.
